A few days ago, Monica Kim<\/a>, Research Editor on Vogue.com, wrote a brief, yet interesting article from this year’s Paris Fashion Week. With regards to Louis Vuitton’s Spring\/Summer 2016 ready-to-wear fashion show, it seems there may have been more than a few homages to popular anime (And video games as well).<\/p>\n

Considering what this blog is all about, I dork-gasmed<\/strong> upon hearing about this mix of high-end fashion and anime\/gaming culture! And the fact that it involved Louis Vuitton, my absolute favourite fashion brand, was the icing on the cake.<\/p>\n

I’m not sure if Nicolas Ghesqui\u00e8re (Creative director of Louis Vuitton) is a huge, closet otaku or if he just chose to make these references for the sake of this season’s clothing line, but I’d like to think the former for my own satisfaction.<\/p>\n
